For a newly launched data aggregation platform focused on providing detailed financial and operational information on PRIVATE African companies, transactions, and investors with all this information linked together. We strive to bridge the information gap by delivering comprehensive and accurate companies’ profiles, financial data, and investor intelligence across the continent. This company is designed to serve investment funds (PE, VC, asset managers), bankers, corporate lawyers, and C-level executives of large corporations.
Location: Remote (Preferably Africa based)
Type: Internship or Freelance
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct research and complete detailed companies’ profiles (public and private), focusing on both operational and financial data
- Perform research on investors and transactions across African markets with predefined criteria
- Identify and gather relevant contact information for key stakeholders
- Support the development of company, ensuring the accuracy and quality of information
Requirements:
- Student or recent graduate from a top business or engineering school in Africa
- Previous experience in finance or in an other business track would be a plus and a strong desire to learn and excel in these areas is needed
- Strong analytical and research skills.
- Passionate about African markets and the role of private capital in addressing the financing needs of African companies.
- Excellent communication skills, with proficiency in English; knowledge of French is a plus
